I started playing drums when I was 8 years old, and I have been in
love with them since. I remember in high school I had a guidance councilor say that, “if you
find something you love to do and you can make it your career, then you will never work a day
in your life.” So I did, I found music and made it my hobby then my career. I am so blessed to
be in a band that is so spiritually grounded. I have played in bands that have done numerous
amounts of weddings and functions, but I still didn’t feel the connection between me and God
and the band. This is the first time that has happened. A wise man once told me the definition
of success is “when the preparation meets the opportunity.” I truly believe that if you have
God on your back and you are prepared you can conquer anything you can dream of.
